2020 Jeep Gladiator

Like a slick magician, Jeep engineers transformed the immensely popular Jeep Wrangler into a pickup after many years without one and named it Gladiator.  Yep, it still resembles a Wrangler with its classic looks and its “go anywhere” demeanor that outguns the competition in “off-road adventures”.

Also, the Gladiator can go topless or door less and you can comfortably commute during the week, then hit the outback on the weekends.  The big changes from its sibling Wrangler that you will see when viewing the new “Glad” with the friendly folks at Huffines Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM Lewisville located at 1024 S Stemmons Freeway in Lewisville, Texas or by calling the dealership at 972.538.4100 is that it is longer.

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator stretches out an additional 31 inches, slightly wider and is heavier to accommodate the functional five-foot bed with over 11 inches of ground clearance.  It also differs from the Wrangler with larger slat openings in the grille to allow for better cooling to help out in the Gladiator's strong best towing in its class.

This new Jeep can now tow around 7600 pounds and carry a payload of 1600.  No problem getting your favorite toys to your out of the way camping or fishing spots. Another plus is its light-weight high strength steel and aluminum body on a frame construction.  The “Glad's” five-foot bed is also constructed with strong steel fitted with standard lighting inside the box and four heavy duty tie-downs for your trail bike or other cargo.  Available is an external power source, spray-on bed liner and a cargo management system along with the damped 3-way tailgate.

As mentioned, the Gladiator comes with the iconic and so recognizable Jeep styling and super tough off-road capabilities especially with the Rubicon and Mojave models.  It didn't receive its Gladiator badge just for the sake of it as this machine is really one “tough hombre”.  Other trims that receive the popular Jeep Command-Trac setup that comes with a 2-speed transfer case and heavy-duty Dana 44 front and rear axles are the Sport and Overland models.  All there to make your grin grow larger at no extra charge.

Another cool thing that can be had is the Selec-Speed Control, which is like cruise control for off-roading.  Under the Gladiator's rugged looking hood is the tried and true feisty 3.6-liter V6 that is mated with the quick-throwing stick or the available 8-speed smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic.

The new Jeep Gladiator just covers all the bases for versatility and enjoyment.  It is like a golden retriever puppy and you can't not smile while driving the “Glad”.  No better time than now to find out why.  Isn't it about time to put that “fun factor” back into your drive times?
